We’ve incorporated the lessons learned during the COVID-19 crisis immediately into the design and construction of Airport Business Center. Since we’re aiming for the BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ and well ‘Gold’ label, these sustainable ofﬁce spaces and social areas are destined for a future where there will be less physical contact with people or devices required to move through the building.

Our future is always top-of-mind Airport Business Center’s buildings are both green and designed with a holistic and optimistic view of the future mobility in the airport district near Brussels. There’s a tram stop right in front of the buildings, which connects Airport Business Center to Brussels National Airport. Meanwhile there’s a secure covered bicycle parking with an extensive number of charging points for e-bikes (and cars) and a private exit to the future cycle highway which will pass right by our premises. As we’re thinking long term, there’s an option to convert multiple parking spaces into office spaces, as our mobility patterns are expected to change significantly in years to come.

The three buildings of Airport Business Center reﬂect the innovative concept conceived by the architects of the renowned Belgian ﬁrm Jaspers-Eyers. The buildings are cleverly linked to one-another through a shared ground ﬂoor, where the design offers an invitation to become a part of this unique business community.

BREEAM stands for Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method, and it’s a sustainability label for realizing sustainable buildings with minimal environmental impact. We’re putting everything to work to receive the BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ certification, the highest (and very rare) qualification, which only a few innovative buildings have managed to receive.
